Payment method: credit/debit card via Stripe only. The store does not offer cash on delivery or cash payment.
Formation of the contract: the sale contract is concluded at the moment the Customer confirms the order by ticking the box accepting these Terms and clicking "Confirm". Card payment via Stripe is performance of the concluded contract, not a separate offer. The Seller may decline or cancel an order before dispatch (e.g. catalogue/pricing error, stock shortage), in which case any amount paid is refunded in full.

5.4 Receipt and inspection
On receipt the Customer must inspect the package for visible damage. If problems are found, record a protocol with the courier and notify us without delay (see Section 7 on inspection and notice of defects).
6. No consumer protection (B2B sales)
- The right of withdrawal (the 14-day "cooling-off" right under Art. 50 et seq. CPA) does not apply;
- The statutory consumer guarantee of conformity and the other consumer safeguards under the CPA do not apply;
- The competence of the Consumer Protection Commission (CPC) and consumer alternative/online dispute resolution mechanisms do not apply.
The relationship between the parties is governed by the Bulgarian Commercial Act, the Bulgarian Obligations and Contracts Act and these Terms. Sections 7 (commercial inspection and defects) and 8 (liability) below set out the regime that does apply.
7. Inspection, defects and complaints (commercial regime)
As a commercial sale between merchants, acceptance and complaints are governed by the Bulgarian Commercial Act, not by consumer law:
- Inspection on receipt. The Customer must inspect the goods at the time of receipt with the care of a prudent merchant.
- Apparent (visible) defects. Apparent defects, shortages or non-conformity must be notified to the Seller immediately (and in any event no later than 48 hours after receipt), in writing to support@lacarte.live, together with the courier protocol where applicable. If the Customer fails to give such immediate notice, the goods are deemed accepted as delivered.
- Hidden (latent) defects. Hidden defects that could not be detected on ordinary inspection must be notified in writing immediately upon discovery and within 6 months of receipt, unless a different period is expressly agreed in writing.
- Remedies. Where a timely and substantiated complaint is accepted, the Seller will, at its option, repair or replace the non-conforming goods or grant an appropriate price reduction; rescission with refund applies only where repair/replacement is impossible or refused. Remedies are limited as set out in Section 8.
8. Liability
The Seller is not liable for: courier delays; damage occurring after delivery caused by the Customer; non-delivery due to incorrect or incomplete addresses; or any cause beyond the Seller's reasonable control (force majeure).
Cap on liability (between merchants). To the maximum extent permitted by law, and given that both parties are merchants, the Seller's aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with any order is limited to the amount actually paid by the Customer for that order. The Seller is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of data, loss of business or goodwill. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded by law (e.g. intent or gross negligence).
9. Made-to-order and personalised products
Some products are produced to the Customer's specification or carry the Customer's branding (e.g. QR plates with a custom logo). For such orders:
- The Customer must approve a proof / mock-up before production starts. The approved proof is binding; the Seller is not responsible for errors (e.g. typos, colours, logo files) contained in material approved by the Customer.
- A prepaid personalised order cannot be cancelled or refunded once production has started, since the goods are made specifically for the Customer and are not fit for resale.
10. Virtual products
Virtual products and digital services (additional translations, premium AI credits, additional features, etc.) are activated immediately in the Customer's account after successful payment. Because performance begins and is completed on activation, virtual products are non-returnable and non-refundable once activated, save for a substantiated technical defect in the service that the Seller is unable to remedy.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any sale concluded under them are governed by Bulgarian law. The application of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) is excluded.
Any dispute shall be referred to the competent Bulgarian court at the seat of the Seller (Burgas). For Customers established in another EU Member State, the parties — both acting as merchants — agree, pursuant to Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012 (Brussels Ia), that the Bulgarian courts at the Seller's seat have exclusive jurisdiction (prorogation of jurisdiction, valid between businesses); and pursuant to Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 (Rome I) they choose Bulgarian law as the law governing the contract.
